- 幼少期からの"憧れ" -
A “longing” since childhood
僕は幼い頃からゴジラが大好きでした。
〇〇レンジャーなどの戦隊ものなどには興味が出ず、
遊ぶ時はいつもゴジラで、頭の中に特撮の世界を繰り広げ
まるで映画の中にいるようにゴジラソフビでガシガシ遊んでいた記憶があります。
僕の中のゴジラというのは、
悪そうな見た目なのにも関わらず、
かっこよくてどこか優しさがあり
こんな風になりたいと、まさに"憧れ"でした。

I was never interested in the Sentai (fighting squadron) stuff, such as the XXRangers,
Whenever I played with Godzilla, I always had the tokusatsu world in my mind and played with Godzilla soft vinyl as if I was in a movie.
I remember playing with Godzilla soft vinyl as if I was in a movie.
Godzilla in my mind was..,
Despite its evil-looking appearance, Godzilla is cool and kind,
I wanted to be just like him.

beginning
思春期がきて、映画などは観ていましたが、
一時期はゴジラから離れていた時期がありました。
そして2016年にシン・ゴジラが公開され、
大人になった僕はまた、何か心の底から湧いてくるものがあったのです。
「やっぱゴジラが好きだ」と。
そして実家から埃を被ったソフビを自宅へ持ち帰り、ディスプレイし始めました。
これがGODZBOXのはじまり。
コレクションを始めるうちに、
「この喜びを誰かと共有したい」
「このフィギュアについて話したい」
そんな単純なことを考え始めたのがきっかけです。
